Media Director - Full Time

Salaried Position

At Legacy Church, we believe media is more than content; it’s ministry. This role is responsible for capturing, creating, and communicating the story of what God is doing in and through our church.

You’ll serve every ministry area by providing high-quality media support while helping maintain a consistent, engaging presence across all digital platforms.

We’re looking for someone who sees this as more than a job, someone who takes ownership, values excellence, and understands that every post, photo, and video is an opportunity to help people encounter Jesus.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who is both capable and committed, someone who can execute at a high level while taking ownership of the role.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Have experience in videography, photography, and editing

  • Can create clean, engaging graphics (Adobe Suite or similar tools)

  • Are comfortable managing social media and creating consistent content

  • Have basic experience managing or updating a website (Squarespace preferred)

  • Are organized and able to manage multiple projects at once

  • Communicate clearly and work well with a team

At the end of the day, this role isn’t just about skill; it’s about ownership, consistency, and using media to help people take their next step toward Jesus.

Responsibilities

Content Creation

  • Capture photo and video content during services, events, and ministry activities

  • Edit and produce high-quality videos for announcements, social media, and special projects

  • Identify and tell stories that reflect what God is doing at Legacy Church

Graphic Design

  • Create graphics for sermon series, events, and weekly communication needs

  • Maintain a consistent visual style across all ministries and platforms

Social Media

  • Manage and maintain an active presence across all social platforms

  • Plan, schedule, and post content consistently

  • Monitor engagement and help increase reach and interaction

Website

  • Keep the church website updated with current events, messages, and key information

  • Ensure a clean, simple, and user-friendly experience for guests

Team Support

  • Serve as a resource for all ministry departments (Kids, Youth, Groups, etc.)

  • Collaborate with staff to execute communication and ministry goals

  • Help build and lead a team of volunteers where needed
