Meet Pastor Lindsey

About Pastor Lindsey

Ministry Role: I am the Cares Ministry Pastor. I love helping people to feel the extension of God’s love when they’re facing a vulnerable season of their life. Whether it’s the loss of a family member, illness, or the birth of a child, I want to be present in that season with them.

Family: I am married to my handsome husband, Tommy, and we have two kids, Seth and McKenzie.

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?: Hmm, I’m such a foodie so it’s hard to pick just one! I would probably say crab legs! And, if I could eat them everyday on the beach, that would be even better!

What's a Bible verse that has really impacted your life?: I have so many, but the one I love most is Provers 31:25. It reminds me that I’m a warrior for the Kingdom and I don’t have to fear what the future holds because my strength comes from God!

How do you like to spend your free time?: I love trying new restaurants, boating on the lake, shopping or traveling to a beach somewhere!

What's something most people don't know about you?: I’m pretty much an open book! Maybe the fact that I like to deer hunt!

If you could have dinner with any Bible character (besides Jesus), who would it be and why?: Joseph - there’s so many characteristics I admire about him! Most importantly forgiveness, grace, mercy, letting the Lord fight his battles for him when he’s wrongly accused, etc.

What's a worship song that always moves you?: “We Need A Miracle” by Charity Gayle. It’s been on repeat lately with some battles I’ve been fighting health wise.

If you weren't in ministry, what do you think you'd be doing?: For the past 20 years I’ve been in the dental field, so I would continue that.

Coffee or tea-and how do you take it?: Tea - I’m not much of a coffee drinker, besides the occasional Iced Blondie from 7 Brew. Iced tea and water are my go-to!

What's one thing you hope people experience when they visit our church?: I hope people feel the presence of the Lord so strongly when they come to Legacy Church! May they find freedom in Christ and a heart for worship to grow in the Lord.
